Welcome to So Stoked for Pride - a special Pride weekend rave!! This entire week is a celebration of all that is different or queer in the eyes of society. We celebrate being ourselves and expressing our choices and our love in the ways we want and feel comfortable. The rainbow colors symbolize PLURality and love of life. The open display of the flag in different forms shows that the gay community has enormously gained in self-confidence. Acceptance has always been one of the main principals of raves. Let's celebrate acceptance and equality! Let's RAVE!
Winner of "Best American DJ" at the IDMA's, Christopher Lawrence is recognized as one of the world's top DJs and producers. A dance music legend, he has been described as "One of America's most influential DJs" by DJ Mag and "A trailblazer" by SPIN. With twenty years behind the decks, Christopher is one of the most credible names in dance music whose outspoken support of the underground has earned him the respect of industry and fans alike. Always pushing boundaries, Christopher's tough techno trance and psy trance infused sets are a favorite on dance floors at the darkest downtown afterhours to the world's biggest festivals.
The spirit of trance in the United States has long been amplified and embodied by DJ/producer Kristina Sky. From the early days of the genre, she was first integral in bringing the music's top DJs to the West Coast masses, often for the first time, then ultimately stepping behind the booth herself in 2002. "KSky," as she's known to one of the most loyal and passionate fanbases in the biz, has been tapped to play all the top festivals around the world, from Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance, sharing the stage at Coachella with Daft Punk and Madonna, multiple sets at Electric Daisy Carnival, as well as the trance-focused Dreamstate and many more top one-off events. Kristina Sky has also held many coveted residencies including America's first weekly trance event at Arena called "Heaven," Spundae at Circus, Insomniac Events' "Awakening" at Exchange LA, as well as the mighty Avalon Hollywood since 2010. It was in these rooms she honed her distinct sound.
Lenny Dee is one of the earliest Techno creators and has produced with artists like Frankie Bones, Casper Pound, Sven Vath, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Victor Simonelli, John Selway, The Horrorist, Chris Liberator, New Order, Arthur Baker, Joey Beltram, KLF & his track 'Fallout appears on the video game 'Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' and was reissued on Defected. He founded Industrial Strength Records in 1991, which is one of the longest running electronic music labels around and recently launched Techno label 'Hard Electronic. He has performed all over the world at parties like EDC (Vegas), Tomorrowland, MayDay, Love Parade, Woodstock, Thunderdome, the Jane's Addiction Reunion tour & the list goes on. He is the first hardcore DJ to appeared on the 'DJ Mag Top 100' and was previously named No 1 'Hard DJ' by Mixmag & 'Best Worldwide Techno DJ' by the Scottish Dance Music awards.
Food House is a hyperpop collaboration of Gupi (Spencer Hawk) and Fraxiom. Gupi's ability to create innovative yet driving instrumentals is stunning and complements Fraxion's playful style in an almost uncanny combination. There is currently no producer out there quite like Spencer Hawk, and as his newer discography can attest, this is far from his peak potential. Fraxion's vocals are straight fire. Ranging from lamentations to outright blasphemy, their style is rivaled by none. There is something exceptionally soulful about Frax's songwriting, with an intense focus on overcoming one's past and living life to the fullest.
